Changhua-The Great Buddha Statue
Lugang
Lugang has some of the most well preserved old streets in Taiwan. The food is drastically different from what is served in the North Taiwan. If in the North, food is dominated by meat, here, everything come from the sea. For diner, we had oyster omelettes, oyster soup (with almost 30 oysters in it for 1,50$) and shrimps.

How to modify your bike so you can carry all your kids on it?
Along the Coast
In this area, we found hills of oyster shells piled everywhere on the sides of the road.

Up to now, we don't have to many problems with the food. We are only struggling with the breakfast which in the Taiwanese culture, is a hot and proteinic meal including fried rice, eggs, fried fish, pork, chicken, soup, etc. The next four pictures describe particularly well what we have a hard time eating in the morning.
All over the coast, we can see those pools that are inland fisheries. They are all over the place between Beigang and Tainan.
A weird attraction. Taiwaneses go to the Ciju Salt Mountain with their kids so they can play in the salt like we would play in the snow.
