04/10/10 Summerland to Keremeos

In the morning, while wrapping the tent, we saw two mule deers. They ran across the hills like if it was all flat. I wish I could do the same on my bike.

We pass through Summerland and Penticton and climb the mountains between the Valley and Keremeos. This is much harder then biking in the Rockies.

In Keremeos, we meet Robi and Moni, two people from Switzerland who have been biking around the world for the last six years Velocos website. They give us many information on how is biking in Asia. It looks like a lot of fun. We are now convinced that we should go there. From South Korea, they took a freighter boat to the West Coast. We already discussed that idea couple of months earlier but for some reason, we just forgot about about it. Now, this idea is coming up again. Looks that we will have many things to sort out once we get to Vancouver... Distance: 69 km
