Overall, we spent five days in Seattle, staying at Dung's place. I really enjoyed the city. It has something European with all those Chocolateries, Cafés and small bakeries.
Seattle has also one of the only open market of the country, located in the downtown. Walking through the crowdy alleys of the Pike Market is a real pleasure although the place is packed with tourists.
Seattle has also interesting architectures to offer such has the Olympic Sculpture Park and the Experience Music Project by Gehry, that we both found to be "too much". We especially enjoyed walking inside the Public Library.
The city has an incredible cycle network, despite of the steep hills and bays that create obstacles all over it. Some of those hills represent real challenges, even for us with our unload bikes.
The Seattle has a pretty tight biking community who organizes Critical Mass events, weekly rides and parties. Couple of years ago, Dung was really involved in that community, doing races and rides so he showed us a couple of things. One night, we did a ride in the city and he brought us to a nice secret spot on the waterfront. Thank you Dung for those moments. I hope you gonna come in Montreal one day so we can show you some nice spots too.
