Before leaving definitely Vancouver, we have to pass for the last time by the Chinese Embassy to pick up our visa. Then, we take a bus to the Tsawwassen ferry terminal from where we gonna sail to Swartz Bay. It is quite an experience to load all our stuff in the bus. Hopefully, someone helped us, making the whole thing less painful.
We reach Victoria the next day and camp on a mountain in the middle of the city. The next afternoon, we get onboard of the Victoria Express, a small passenger ferry that do the connection to Port Angeles. The sea is very bad that day and the boat pretty small. We keep bouncing up and down at each wave. Outside, our bikes are taking a shower. Soon, many passengers are getting dizzy. A couple of them are invited by the crew to go outside and through their lunch on the deck. Since the sea condition does not get better, the crew distribute plastic bags to all passengers. I am so happy to be back on the water. I miss sailing a lot. I enjoy each wave. No one seems to share my enthousiasm. Amelie is not sick but has an headache because of all the vaccins we had before leaving Vancouver.

On the way to Seattle, we have to cross a bridge to Bainbridge Island. The wind on the bridge is terrible as described by my pretty face.
We finally arrive at dark by the Bainbridge Ferry and land directly downtown. Dung and Kelly, or couchsurfer hosts give us a great welcome.
