07/08/10 Karlstad - St-Malo

Today is our last day in United States. To celebrate, we buy some beers for the lunch. I drink two of them and this is already too much. Hard to believe how cycling makes you less tolerant to alcohol. I pass the border at Lancaster a little bit tipsy.

The roads of Manitoba are significantly different from the ones in Minnesota. There is no shoulder, too many cracks and the asphalt is very abrasive. Maybe we gonna regret the USA finally!

Along highway 59, we discover many french communities. It's good to hear some french after a month and half in the USA. We stop at St-Malo and camp in a swamp...not the nicest spot ever. Distance: 100 km
